    Position summary

    Law clerks are invited to attend court hearings and depositions that take place during the clerkship period, and to participate in meetings with Fannie Mae's business units.
    Qualifications
    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
    • Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
    • 1st year/rising 2nd year law students (2027 JD candidates)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent writing and analytical skills as well as oral and interpersonal communication skills are required
    • Candidates must also have proficiency in using on-line databases such as Lexis-Nexis
    • Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
