    Position summary

    wing responsibilities:

    • Lead and execute projects, targeted reviews, risks assessments and gap analyses independently and produce deliverable-ready work product while providing guidance to team members on their projects/deliverables.
    • Manage team efforts to evaluate the impact of potential compliance risks to the enterprise; manage documentation and provide feedback to the team on resolutions and control guidelines.
    • Independently spot and resolve issues.
    • Create, author, and maintain governance documents for new processes; provide direction on substantive changes to existing governance documents.
    • Demonstrate executive writing skills and produce deliverable-ready work product.
    • Present to senior management or regulator with limited guidance.
    • Lead strategic projects independently. Demonstrate innovative thinking to redesign processes, solve issues, or conduct analyses.
    • Manage others to review business strategies and make decisions that will drive success in the face of shifting regulations and other mandates.

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experience

    • 8 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or risk management functions
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Experience in conducting risk assessments, evaluating controls, identifying control gaps, remediating risk in a regulated environment
    • Ability to monitor regulatory and policy changes and ensure business alignment with internal standards
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise, including senior leadership

    Desired Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    • Prior people management experience

    • Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries

    • Ability to analyze data and provide appropriate insights and reporting

    • Ability to present to colleagues, senior management and regulators

    • Experience in influencing, including negotiating, persuading others, leading meetings and delivering presentations

    • Experience working in eGRC environments to manage and monitor risk

    Target Salary Range: $179,000 - $239,000 a year

    The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
