    Position summary

    following responsibilities:

    • Ability to support Data Center facilities and remediate various network incidents

    • Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.

    • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.

    • Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

    • Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.

    This position has a Tuesday through Saturday Schedule and will have on-call responsibilities

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    Minimum Required Experiences

    • 2 years of Enterprise Network Security Engineering experience

    • Experience with VPN Technolgies e.g. Zscaler, Citrix VPN

    • Experience with performance tuning and load balancing Technolgies

    • Experience supporting automation and IACspecifically, Terraform.

    • Experience with Routing, Switching, Firewall, and Checkpoint technologies

    • Experience in the cloud networking space, e.g. core routing and switching.

    • Experience responding to incidents and mitigating infrastructure errors.

    • Experience in on call engagement as needed for network impacting incidents

    • Planned change implementation support as needed

    • Understanding of Data center infrastructure, cabling and environmental requirements.

    Desired Experiences

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    • Cloud or Networking certifications

    • Skilled in Network Engineering and Operations

    • Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information

    • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action

    • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

    • The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations

    • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
