Lead, coach, and mentor a team of policy analysts, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in mortgage originations, underwriting, and policy development to drive optimal business outcomes.
Oversee the development, refinement, and implementation of Selling Guide policies that reflect appropriate risk tolerance in an evolving market landscape.
• Ensure timely, clear, and consistent communication of Selling Guide policy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Align policy guidance, where applicable, with enterprise systems, processes, and strategic objectives.
• Monitor the industry ecosystem to identify and respond to regulatory changes, leading practices, and emerging risks to inform policy decisions.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
6+ years of related experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market
Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive complex initiatives across internal and external stakeholder groups
Proven people management skills, including the ability to lead experienced professionals, navigate diverse perspectives, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, anticipate impacts, and develop actionable recommendations
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experiences & Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in the primary or secondary mortgage market
5+ years of experience in risk assessment and management, including evaluating risks and identifying controls
Demonstrated ability to think creatively to solve complex problems, challenge conventional approaches, and drive innovative policy solutions
Experience presenting to and collaborating with executive level management and external partners, such as mortgage lenders
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
Experience in governance and compliance, including developing and maintaining policies or procedures, interpreting regulatory guidance, ensuring alignment with internal standards, and/or supporting audit and oversight activities

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
