Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GE Vernova policy/procedures, industry standards and regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to environmental guidelines.
- Process Design and Optimization:
- Design and develop advanced manufacturing processes.
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technology Integration:
- Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, robotics, IoT).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing systems.
- Project Management:
- Lead manufacturing projects from conception to completion.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
- Team Collaboration:

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Desirable: Master's degree
- Experience:
- Considerable experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Desirable: background in Automotive, Electronics, Aviation, Heavy Machinery
- Proven experience in process optimization and lean manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, component assembly/fastening, material handling, inspection and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, CREO) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills using large data sets.
- Experience of data capture integration in manufacturing environments with IT networks and digital systems.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable: ERP/MRP knowledge (e.g. SAP)
