QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Proven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Previous experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as necessary.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.
