Lead the Project Engineering Office (PEO) to manage and regularly update the EMH, Engineering processes, training, tools, as well as growing engineering expertise through competency management and the Technical Experts Program (TEP).
Responsible for development and deployment of engineering tools and to drive engineering quality process and metrics.
Deploy GRID engineering tools and process, including collaboration across Business Lines for successful project execution (use of EMH, BIM model library etc.).
Lead development and cost reduction of GSI reference
Communicate core business vision & strategy to grow & manage product portfolio and ensure competitive position & product vitality.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
Solid previous experience of Engineering or Project Management activities in EPC type environment in T&D, Power Gen or Oil &Gas industry
Successful experience in management of engineering, technology, or project management teams
Knowledge of project execution risks and financial processes
Demonstrated ability to lead in an unstructured environment and deliver results
Demonstrates ownership & accountability, judgment and decision making, influences & inspires team, creates a vision and strategy, and has passion for the role
Mastering of some engineering processes such as: Civil work, Plant configuration, control & protection hardware, System & performance studies or Electrical design would be an advantage but not essential
