    préventive et corrective. Il sera la personne de référence sur site pour toute question liée aux outils et l'interlocuteur privilégié des ingénieurs back-office et des responsables outillage sur site.

    To be part of the Asset team itself, part of the Transport and Installation department of GE Wind Offshore.

    The department is responsible for the supply of all the transport and installation methodologies as tools allowing the transport, then the installation of the wind turbine generator's components from factories up to final offshore locations for all GE Wind Offshore projects around the world. The team is leading the maintenance, the operational tests, short- as long-term enhancement and training in use of tools along the design, manufacturing, transport and remobilization from site-to-site phases.

    The candidate will participate in site acceptance tests but also in the operations on site to give support during the use of the tools as supervising and participating in the preventive tooling as corrective maintenance. The candidate will be the reference person on site for any questions related to the tools and will be the preferred candidate for the back-office engineers and site tooling managers.

    Job Description

    Responsabilités principales

    • Participer au développement et à l'amélioration des outils en apportant une vision issue des opérations terrain.

    • Assister aux FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) et SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) des outils.

    • Être formé à l'utilisation des outils et être capable de former d'autres opérateurs lorsque possible.

    • Soutenir les opérations sur site lors de la mobilisation et de la démobilisation des outils, notamment lors des phases d'assemblage.

    • Aider l'équipe projet à organiser les formations et à coordonner avec les fournisseurs d'outillage.

    • Assister l'équipe projet pendant l'utilisation des outils et collecter les retours d'expérience.

    • Contribuer à la gestion de la flotte d'outillage : inventaire des pièces de rechange, suivi de l'état de maintenance.

    • Analyser les problèmes techniques, proposer des solutions en coordination avec le back-office, instruire et suivre les adaptations sur site.

    • Rédiger des rapports de service et des rapports internes après chaque mobilisation afin de maintenir un historique des activités.

    • Soutenir le T&I Asset Manager dans le suivi des non-conformités outillage et la construction des indicateurs (KPIs).

    Qualifications / Exigences

    • Master en génie mécanique ou en génie électrique/automatisme, avec minimum 2 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.

    • Ou Bachelor en génie mécanique ou en génie électrique/automatisme, avec minimum 5 ans d'expérience comme ingénieur/technicien terrain.

    Exigences supplémentaires

    • À l'aise avec les équipements industriels lourds et/ou les opérations de levage lourd.

    • Expérience dans le développement, la maintenance et l'utilisation d'outils lourds.

    • Capacité à organiser un site de travail et à interagir/coordiner avec des sous-traitants.

    • Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Office et aisance générale avec l'informatique.

    • Anglais courant, oral et écrit.

    Compétences souhaitées

    • Expérience en structures mécaniques et/ou outils électriques/automatisme/hydrauliques.

    • Capacité de résolution de problèmes.

    • Organisé et transparent.

    • Bonnes compétences en communication, grande flexibilité.

    • Capacité à travailler dans une équipe multiculturelle et pluridisciplinaire.

    • Disponibilité pour voyager sur site environ 50 % du temps.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Participate in the development/enhancement of the tools to give insights from field operation perspective.

    • Attend to FAT and SAT of the tools.

    • The candidate will be trained to use the tools and will be able to train other operators when possible.

    • Support the operations on site during mobilization and demobilization of the tools, in particular when assembly is required.

    • Support project team to organize training and coordinate with tool suppliers.

    • Support project team during the use of the tools. Collect feedback.

    • Support project team for tooling management by following fleet as spare parts inventory and maintenance status.

    • Analyze technical issues when required, propose solutions in coordination with back office when required, instruct and follow on site adaptations.

    • Type service report and internal ones after each field mobilization to maintain a backlog record of the activities.

    • Support the T&I Asset manager to track tooling nonconformities and build KPIs.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or in electrical/automation engineering and with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in electrical/automation engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience as field engineer/technician.

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Be comfortable with heavy industrial equipment and/or heavy lifting operations.

    • Experienced in heavy tools development, maintenance and use.

    • Being able to organize a work site and interact/coordinate with subcontractors.

    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and more generally, to have an aptitude for computing.

    • Fluent in English both spoken and written
