COE to create tools & analytical solutions that enabling efficiency to downstream operating partners. This role has indirect oversight over gross production costs while driving key performance indicators including labor productivity, utilization and indirect costs per hour (utilities, supplies & tooling, maintenance).
What you'll do
Supports manufacturing finance activities and rhythms, including planning, pacing, monthly operating reviews (MOR), closing, and audits
Coordinate key closing activities, including preparing and recording manual journal entries, identify and execute improvements to decrease closing cycle times and number of manual journal entries.
Serve as deputy to plant finance manager to coordinate financial deliverables and reporting across functional stakeholders (Cell Leaders, Facilities, HR, EHS, Quality)
Understands and effectively communicates financial variance drivers including volume, mix, program savings, PCO, FX, etc.
Support inputs into operational balance sheet reviews and leads initiatives on ongoing improvements to supply chain internal controls
Leverage indirect Data & Analytics COE and predictive analytic tools to enhance finance activities, pacing accuracy and provide value-add insights to operations
Able to identify and effectively communicate financial risks and opportunities and impact on operational KPIs
Supports and leads LEAN and standardization initiatives across GSC delivering high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability
Provide insights and transparency to actual costs, aligning site/value stream roadmap to develop pipeline to improve or control total cost per unit and bill rates
Ad hoc support of statutory or tax audits, internal billing or accounts payable escalations
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant FP&A and Supply Chain Finance experience
Fluent English knowledge is essential
Knowledge of general accounting policies and practices
System ERP Expertise: SAP
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
