    Position summary

    and compliance with industry standards.

    • Work collaboratively with the Service Lead Engineering team to integrate hardware solutions effectively into service projects.

    • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to engineering teams and third-party contractors.

    • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute hardware and cabling projects, including testing and commissioning.

    • Work closely with our Engineering Design Center (EDC) office to coordinate design efforts and review other engineers' drawings and work packages.

    • Monitor, control, and manage engineering project budgets, documentation, risk management processes, design reviews, and quality control systems in accordance with company guidelines.

    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in hardware and cabling design and integration.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    A mix of the following skills is preferred, and we understand not everyone will meet all of these requirements:

    • Experience in an engineering leadership environment, particularly in hardware and cabling roles.

    • Proven expertise in hardware design and cabling system integration.

    • Experience in specifying components such as connectors, cables, and related hardware.

    • Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage engineering operations efficiently.

    • Ability to multitask on various projects within strict deadlines.

    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

    • Customer-centric mindset, with experience in translating customer requirements into effective engineering solutions.

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar degree with suitable industry experience.
