Defining and implementing process improvements that impact safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Working with production and support teams to eliminate disruption, bottlenecks, and improve flow in the process.
Ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient area for the employees working in assigned product area.,
Comply with EHS regulations and policies, and supporting the resolution of EHS concern reports as required.
Ensuring standard work, QA procedures and manufacturing documentation are in place and current.
Support supervisors and teams in managing tooling needs.
Support training needs as required.
Support Lean initiatives, Kaizen events and other quality activities as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 3 Years experience working in manufacturing environment.
Desired Characteristics
Experience with Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and preventative actions.
Experience with tooling and fixture design and implementation.
Experience with 3D model software. i.e. ProE, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
Experience with production line layout, process flows & design improvement.
Experience working cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
Dead Tank Circuit Breaker experience preferred.
