    Position summary

    structures to support effective project planning, monitoring, and control.

    • Utilize SAP/PMx and other relevant tools for project planning, cost planning, monitoring, and reporting.

    • Lead day-to-day project execution to ensure progress against the approved baseline plan, coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, field execution, performance teams, vendors, consortium partners, and other external stakeholders.

    • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and decision-making sessions, ensuring all project activities comply with company standards, policies, and procedures.

    • Communicate project objectives, progress, risks, and issues clearly and proactively to internal and external stakeholders.

    • Provide regular project updates through reports, dashboards, presentations, and milestone reviews.

    • Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and issues; develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.

    • Maintain project risk registers, issue logs, change logs, and other key project control documents throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Evaluate change requests for impact on scope, schedule, budget, and resources, and ensure all changes are properly documented, communicated, approved, and implemented.

    • Ensure Code of Conduct as per GE standards, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols.

    • Drive project KPIs, ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), as well as margin objectives, are achieved.

    • Oversee revenue recognition, cash collections, and compliance with contractual obligations.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consortium partners, and internal stakeholders to drive effective communication and successful project outcomes.

    • Lead structured project review rhythms, including bowler charts, milestone tracking, and performance reviews.

    • Capture and share lessons learned, best practices, and cost-of-poor-quality cases to support continuous improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from a recognized institution.

    • Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex power-sector projects.

    • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar project leadership role.

    • Experience in core, retrofit, and upgrade projects within the power sector.

    • Mandatory experience in steam turbine upgrade projects.

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

    • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and cross-functional teams.

    • Experience working with consortium partners and offshore entities is preferred.

    • Strong commitment to Health and Safety in challenging operational environments.

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Strong customer-facing skills with a proven ability to drive customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
