    Position summary

    , from identifying new opportunities to submitting a final proposal and following up on the outcome, mainly for HVDC/FACTs/ACS projects.

    • Review and analyze client requirements, technical specifications, and contract terms to understand project scope and potential risks.

    • Formulate competitive bid strategies that align with the company's objectives and market conditions to win new projects.

    • Collaborate with various departments, such as engineering, finance, legal, and procurement, to gather information and develop comprehensive proposals.

    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive offers and customers' preferences to enhance bid strategies

    • Prepare accurate cost estimates and conduct risk assessments for bids and related contract agreements.

    • Participate in or lead negotiations on contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors.

    • Keep an accurate and up-to-date database of all tender activities, submissions, and outcomes.

    • Review of information about demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations. Coordination of HVDC/FACTS/ACS tender reviews and deadlines and adjust them to the frameworks given by the customers with all stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or business from an accredited university

    • More than 10 years of sales experience within the power and renewables industry

    • Experience in carrying out market assessments and subsequently developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration

    Desired Characteristics

    • Ability to develop influential customer relationships, plans, sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.

    • Experience in high value and complex ACS tenders

    • Experience in new technology tenders involving FACTS and HVDC system

    • Experience in working on renewable and non-utility segments shall be preferred.

    • Strong customer mindset.

    • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external clients.

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

    • Knowledge of market economics, competitive landscape, technology, and projects.

    • Relevant experience in project management, procurement, or as a tender writer is highly valuable.
