In this position, your main responsibilities will be leading of NPI control application and system design team as well as the technical leading and managing NPI and New Technology Introduction (NTI) projects. The programs will be focused on power-electronic based SVC and STATCOM solutions. You will be reporting to global FACTS NPI Program Leader. On top of Team Leading, special focus will be on new technology and future solution projects as well as cost-optimization projects. In this position, you are expected to support the work of team members as well as hands-on contribute to the technical solution and the solution delivery. Key targets are to make sure that resource needs and allocations are properly managed and R&D projects you are leading are executed on time and on budget.
Experience on power electronics devices, FACTS systems, and components are critical on top of the team leading and project management. Background and understanding of power systems, control systems, systems design as well as electrical energy storages are considered as significant benefits. Experience on simulations with different tools is also important. In this role, you have opportunity to work on international environment and get insight on state-of-the-art technology used in high-power grid-connected power-electronic applications.
