On Site Services Specialist - Junior Drives Engineer

ete tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GE drive systems at site locations.

• Completing installation and wiring modifications to a high standard.

• Maintenance activities on drive and control equipment.

• Writing installation, modification and maintenance reports.

• Reading and understanding project documentation including instruction manuals, drawings and procedures.

• Complying with both Company and Customer EHS policies, procedures and safe systems of work.

• Maintaining personal competence by completing all applicable training in line with company requirements.

• Coordinating additional opportunities to serve the customer with the customer service team, parts, other FSE's, repair services, sales, and product engineering teams.

• Completing timely administrative requirements, timesheets, daily logs etc.

• Performing work on-board vessels within GE / Customer safety guidelines either in shipyards or offshore.

We are looking for a committed and professional individual with:

• Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from a reputable college or university or equivalent knowledge & experience.

• Must have established record of site work.

• Experience with PC/PLC equipment.

• A recognized Health and Safety training including risk assessment.

• A willingness to travel to customer sites for extended periods of time within the UK and abroad.

• A willingness to work for extended hours/overtime when required during peak periods and emergency circumstances.
