• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role (manufacturing or similar industry preferred) OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or leadership position

Eligibility Requirements

• Ability and willingness to work the Off-Shift- 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position is 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY.

Desired Characteristics

• Engineering or management degree.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience running projects in a machine shop environment.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Established project management skills

• Ability to foster a culture of safety and quality.

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this position is $74,800 - $85,000**.** The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 5**%** performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity and 10% shift differential.

*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
