Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement manufacturing processes that maximize efficiency and minimize waste, aligning with lean methodologies.
Develop, document, and maintain robust standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and compliance with industry standards.
Utilize data-driven approaches to facilitate defect reduction and execute problem-solving initiatives, ensuring optimal product quality and process efficiency.
Spearhead efforts to enhance productivity, improve product and process yields, and minimize the Cost of Poor Quality.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Required Qualifications
Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3 years operational, quality and engineering experience in related industry preferred.
Strong communications, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Gas Turbine, Rotor or Aeroderivatives component repairs experience will be an added advantage.
Desired Characteristics
Good understanding or applied experience in interpreting engineering drawings (GD&T)
Analytical skills & experience in performing Root Cause Analysis
Meticulous and data driven in reviewing and making dispositions
