Possess thorough knowledge and ability to use all tools associated with assembling units according to required specifications: lifting equipment, wall and overhead cranesHydraulic and electric Torque toolsSpecific hydraulic pullers for disassembly operationsOther Tools included but not limited to impact drills, magnetic drills, drill press, angle grinders, sanders, basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic)Measurement Tools, calibers, oil flushing equipment.
Read and understand mechanical layout, engineering drawings
Follow all EH&S guidelines and policies
Follow good environmental practices and waste management procedures. Segregate waste in the pertinent containers at the Repair Hall.
Qualifications/Requirements
Mechanical or Electrical School Diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Wind Gearbox Repair Shop
Certified in the use of lifting equipment, such as overhead and wall cranes, as well as lifting methods and practices by using appropriate slings, chains, hooks, etc..
Trained on Bearings assembly practices, including clearance and preload calculation.
Trained in the use of sealing and adhesives for bearings assembly
Trained in hoses manufacturing and testing.
Training on tightening practices and tools.

Ability to read, understand and follow mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
Self-motivated to work with minimal guidance and willingness to learn from others
Ability and Willingness to work at heights and confined spaces, repairing gearboxes uptower in the Nacelle enclosure if required
Ability and willingness to work various shifts and overtime on short notice, in order to meet business needs
Ability to follow instructions and be willing to work outside under adverse weather conditions
