Engage early with developers, EPCs, utilities, and regulators to influence project direction and position technology solutions
Manage the full sales lifecycle-from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
Develop and execute opportunity-specific commercial and proposal strategies aligned with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
Lead pricing, commercial structuring, and internal approval processes, partnering with finance, risk, legal, and project teams
Support and participate directly in customer negotiations, bringing experience and sound commercial judgement to complex discussions
Develop deep understanding of ANZ market dynamics, including planning, permitting, and approval processes for power generation projects
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, customer priorities, competitor activity, and policy developments across Australia and New Zealand
Collaborate with Marketing and product teams to support solution positioning and future product development
Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to simplify sales and proposal processes
What You Bring
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in sales, commercial, or business development roles within energy, power generation, or adjacent infrastructure sectors
Strong exposure to the Australian and/or New Zealand energy markets, including generation, transmission, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Experience with combined cycle or thermal power projects is an advantage, but not required
Proven ability to manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities independently
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging at senior customer and partner levels
Clear, structured communication and presentation skills
A collaborative working style and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse, cross-functional teams
Willingness and ability to travel across ANZ as required (up to ~40%)
