    Position summary

    ion solutions across diverse systems, applications, and platforms - ensuring seamless data flow across business applications and services. As an integration specialist, you'll mentor GEV technical engineers, champion best practices, and be involved hands-on to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable integrations. You'll partner closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes and exceptional customer satisfaction.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Serve as a technical leader or mentor on complex, integrated customer implementations, either within individual project teams and/or cross-organizationally

    • Provide expert knowledge and experience to collaborate with the customer to identify technical requirements and estimate the technical effort required to implement complex software solutions

    • Contribute to technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements

    • Write project documentation in accordance with deliverables, including detailed design specifications as per customer requirements

    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Leads, DevOps and Services Consultants throughout the implementation of a project to identify and scope application changes while adhering to the change management process

    • Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on design and functionality

    • Effectively leverage product capabilities, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions.

    • Interact with Product Development Teams, Commercial Teams, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams as required for the solution and implement processes to ensure best use of GEV Vernova products and services.

    • Maintain strong customer relationships

    • Effectively apply GEV Vernova execution methodology and project standards Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge

    • Work independently as well as part of the team

    Technical Expertise:

    • Applies technical fundamentals in specific projects. Applies architecture development process & methods at various stages of the project lifecycle. Applies architecture adoption best practices on multiple programs.

    • Possesses proven ability to deploy in on-premise and/or cloud-based environments.

    • Demonstrates ability to diagnose and solve intermediate to advanced issues. Can isolate highly complex scenarios down to actionable items and drive solutions.

    • Coaches others on troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

    • Ability to communicate product capabilities internally and in customer facing situations.

    Business Acumen:

    • Anticipates potential risks and obstacles and resolves proactively to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction across all projects. Addresses customer concerns quickly and effectively; at times, anticipates customer concerns before they become issues.

    • Leverages knowledge of market and customer segment to establish further credibility in the eyes of the customer.

    • Plans and facilitates collaborative discussions with client and others within GEV to identity and prioritize client's overall business needs.

    • Understands when and when not to depart from the standard provision of deliverables. Implements scalable systems according to governance and standards guidelines/boundaries, collaborating with others as necessary.

    Leadership:

    • Helps team members understand their contributions in support of the broader direction.

    • Serves as a mentor to newer team members in support of business goals and objectives and product development roadmap

    • Continuously measures the completion rate of personal deliverables and compares them to the scheduled commitments.

    • Effectively balances different, competing objectives.

    • Engages positively across multiple departments, GEV businesses and customers as needed to manage conflict and establish clarity, vision, and mutual trust to achieve a business goal.

    • Adjusts information (e.g. level of complexity) and story to align with audience. Produces functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.

    Skills and Qualification

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    • 10+ years of experience in industrial systems related field.

    • 10+ years of experience in software analysis, design, methodology, implementation, and architecture.

    • Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture.

    • Programming experience in software development with Kotlin or Java programming language.

    • Preferred experience with MuleSoft Anypoint, SNnowflake, Boomi or similar

    • Experience with SOAP, REST, Postman or other API technologies

    • Experience with SQL, PLSQL, ODBC, MSSQL or other data query languages.

    • Preferred experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, RedPanda or similar.

    • Experience with Apache Maven.

    • Experience with tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ or Jenkins

    • Experience with data extraction and conversion

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

    • Demonstrate ability to learn new software development practices, languages, and tools.

    • Collaborate using tools like Jira and Confluence for efficient project management and communication.

    • Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems.

    • Experience in agile development environments and familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies, committed to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of project delivery.

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and experience working with global teams and partners.

    • Strong spoken and written English language skills.

    • Understand customers' needs in an industrial setting. Can effectively share/communicate complex technical topics with various levels of audience.

    • Demonstrate ability to proactively identify issues and independently develop solutions.

    • Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility and goodwill.

    As GE Vernova is a global organization, working across different time zones, and monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours can be expected.
