    Vos principales responsabilités

    À ce titre, vous serez appelé(e) à :

    • Analyser et décoder les appels d'offres (RFP), en évaluant les exigences techniques, commerciales et contractuelles des clients;

    • Définir et déployer des stratégies de soumission gagnantes, alignées sur les objectifs de rentabilité et de gestion des risques de l'entreprise;

    • Diriger et mobiliser des équipes multidisciplinaires (ingénierie, finances, approvisionnement, juridique, etc.) afin de livrer des propositions de grande qualité dans des délais serrés;

    • Participer au processus de gestion des risques;

    • Préparer les dossiers décisionnels et obtenir les approbations internes requises selon la gouvernance en place et en fonction de l'ampleur des projets;

    • Établir des stratégies de prix compétitives et analyser les conditions de marché;

    • Valider et consolider les offres finales;

    • Mener les négociations contractuelles avec les clients et partenaires;

    • Assurer un transfert fluide et structuré des projets remportés vers les équipes d'exécution;

    • Participer activement aux analyses post-mortem afin d'optimiser continuellement les pratiques et les performances commerciales.

    Profil recherché

    Nous recherchons un(e) Gestionnaires Sr des ventes et des propositions commerciales stratégique et orienté(e) résultats, possédant :

    • Une expérience significative en ventes complexes et en préparation de propositions d'envergure, idéalement dans un contexte de projets majeurs;

    • De solides connaissances techniques et commerciales dans le secteur de l'hydroélectricité ou dans une industrie de projets comparables;

    • Un esprit analytique, structuré et rigoureux, combiné à une grande capacité de résolution de problèmes;

    • Une aptitude démontrée à diriger des équipes multidisciplinaires dans un environnement de travail international et matriciel;

    • D'excellentes compétences en communication et en négociation, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, avec des interlocuteurs de haut niveau (clients, équipes internes, haute direction);

    • Un fort sens de l'anticipation, de la proactivité et de l'adaptabilité;

    • Une réelle motivation à bâtir des relations clients durables et de confiance;

    • Une capacité à gérer simultanément plusieurs projets ou programmes complexes.

    Formation

    • Baccalauréat dans une discipline pertinente;

    • Diplôme de deuxième cycle ou MBA : un atout important.

    Langues et mobilité

    • Excellente maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit;

    • Disponibilité pour des déplacements au Canada et aux États-Unis (visites de sites, rencontres clients, conférences).

    Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations - North America, you will play a key and highly strategic role in the company's business development activities. You will be actively involved in pre-project phases and will be directly responsible for the preparation, structuring, and negotiation of winning commercial proposals for the design, manufacturing, and installation of hydroelectric turbine-generator units across Canada and the United States.

    Through these large-scale projects, you will contribute directly to the energy transition, supporting the development and modernization of sustainable hydropower infrastructure-an essential pillar in the decarbonization of North American power grids.

    This position offers high visibility, significant autonomy, and a direct impact on the company's growth, profitability, and strategic positioning in its core markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Analyzing and interpreting Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including technical, commercial, and contractual customer requirements;

    • Defining and executing winning bid strategies, aligned with the company's profitability and risk management objectives;

    • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams (engineering, finance, procurement, legal, etc.) to deliver high-quality proposals within demanding timelines;

    • Participating in the risk management process;

    • Preparing decision packages and securing required internal approvals in accordance with governance processes and project scope;

    • Developing competitive pricing strategies and analyzing market conditions;

    • Reviewing, validating, and consolidating final proposals;

    • Leading contract negotiations with customers and partners;

    • Ensuring a smooth and structured handover of awarded projects to execution teams;

    • Actively contributing to post-bid reviews to continuously improve commercial practices and performance.

    Candidate Profile

    We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Sr Sales & Proposals Manager with the following qualifications:

    • Significant experience in complex sales and large-scale proposal development, ideally within major project environments;

    • Strong technical and commercial expertise in hydropower or in a comparable project-based industrial sector;

    • A structured, analytical, and rigorous mindset, with strong problem-solving capabilities;

    • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international, matrixed organization;

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with senior-level stakeholders (customers, internal teams, executive management);

    • A high level of proactivity, anticipation, and adaptability;

    • A genuine interest in building long-term, trusted customer relationships;

    • The ability to manage multiple complex projects or programs simultaneously.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline;

    • A graduate degree or MBA is a strong asset.

    Languages & Mobility

    • Full professional proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken;

    • Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States for site visits, customer meetings, and conferences.

    Work Environment

    • Position based at the Brossard office (South Shore of Montreal);

    • Hybrid work model with 2 to 3 days per week on site;
