Job Description
Your Role:
Ensure Project Planning is carried out in a consistent way through all project phases including ITO and that processes are relevant and followed across the Region.
Will provide forensic planning expertise when required
Will attend Project reviews as necessary to provide guidance and oversight on the critical projects
Will proactively identify and step into projects where recovery plans are required to ensure structure, reporting and recovery measures are established.
Work as project planner ensuring integration of inputs, delivering consolidated project schedules that include integration of Customer and external interfaces, project scope (DOW) and responsibilities of the various parties (DOR).
Support during the Sales & Tendering phase (and when nominated to do so), to ensure Tender schedules are realistic and to provide Project Management cost estimates
Monitor progress of project portfolio, float and critical path activities, suggesting improvements where possible, to ensure OTD, realize opportunities and mitigate risk
Ensure lessons learned (Return of Experience (RoE)) from previous projects are used to improve the project schedule and support the Project Manager in recording any new lessons learned that occur
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical discipline, from an accredited College or University with 4+ years of experience in the power generation industry; or, a High School Diploma / GED with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
Primavera project planning software experience
Ability to gain unescorted access to a Nuclear power facility in the U.S. and/or Canada
Strong interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business or other technical or business-related field
Strong oral and written communication skills including at the executive level
Experience working in a global / multi-cultural environment
Strong customer service mindset
Experience in Leadership of Project Planning
Experience in engineering / manufacturing / site works and / or appropriate product knowledge
Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
Integrity: accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
Clear thinker with an ability to focus on the "critical few" issue/priorities. Able to communicate messages clearly and concisely. Ability to translate strategy into business objectives
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $166,700 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
