Conduct routine equipment maintenance and assist with troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality, and cleanliness standards, including daily housekeeping responsibilities.
Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and outcomes to support knowledge capture and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams in a lab or workshop environment.
Qualifications
NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Welding, Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of hands-on welding experience (TIG/MIG preferred)
Proven hands-on experience in welding (TIG, MIG, or other relevant methods); certifications are a plus.
Knowledge or exposure to coating or machining processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
Comfortable working with industrial tools and equipment in a workshop or lab setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Self-driven, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and methods.
