    About the job

    The Google Compliance team makes sure that our business is always consistent with the current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. You develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization. You are thorough in all you do and see to it that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.

    As an investigator on the Extended Workforce Investigations team, you will be part of a central team that ensures an objective and fair investigation process for labor and HR compliance matters which involve Google's extended workforce or their suppliers. In this role you will devise, follow, and advise on protocol for HR issues and investigations involving Google's extended workforce, and develop investigation documentation and recommendations for management.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare, track, and maintain investigation data and documentation, and conduct timely investigations and grievance resolution for violations of Google's HR and extended workforce policies, Google's code of conduct, and Google's Supplier Code of Conduct.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with partners in Employment Legal, Employee Relations and Regulatory Affairs, and Security Investigations and Assessments.
    • Provide risk insights/trends to Product Areas and Extended Workforce Solutions to support their risk mitigation efforts.
    • Anticipate and escalate high-risk issues or supplier non-compliance to Product Areas and central functions like Procurement, Extended Workforce Solutions, and Employment Legal.
