    Our computational challenges are so big and unique we can't just buy our hardware, we've got to make it ourselves. Our teams design and build the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google's services.

    As a Product Design Engineer, you will design and evaluate systems, identify product requirements and contribute to research and project planning.

We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Apply design, engineering, and technical expertise to influence cross-functionally and deliver reliable mass production components, and solve time-sensitive problems.

    • Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design to suggest or implement design improvements.

    • Manage the product design, provide guidance to team members, and communicate progress, and request feedback to prevent/remove roadblocks.
