    In this role, you will empower and widespread adoption of Android XR experiences by building a robust, capable and versatile Android XR platform foundation. You will aim to enable developers to craft compelling, differentiated Extended Reality (XR) experiences while supporting Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in seamlessly integrating Android XR into diverse product lines.

    As part of the input team, you will enable seamless user interaction and security within Android XR through input management, routing and dispatch, focus management, UI understanding and OpenXR input integration, while driving testability through an input simulation framework.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Deliver software and technical support towards the larger organizational goals with minimal assistance from more executive team members.
    • Write robust, reliable, efficient, and testable software designed to run in environments that span Android framework andHardware Abstraction Layer(HAL) to applications and cloud.
    • Plan, prioritize and execute project work independently and proactively identify gaps and opportunities. Set priority and technical direction for a few direct and cross-functional teammates collaborating on the same projects
    • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices. Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the engineering team through code, process enhancements, and software development workflow improvements
    • Communicate clearly and align work within affected teams and with cross-functional partners.
