    Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.     In this role, you will work towards improving infrastructure which allows Googlers to administer production in a more collaborative and predictable manner, empowering better, more efficient (SREs), Software Engineers and Trusted Partner Cloud operators and easier spread of SRE best practices.

    As part of this role, you will have an opportunity to influence what Google builds and how they build it (technical design, quality, processes and team culture).

    Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, land and maintaining components and features of Zamm infrastructure.
    • Develop software and infrastructure with a focus on long-term maintainability.
    • Troubleshoot test infrastructure issues.
    • Design and build simple modular systems to solve complex problems.
    • Foster engineering best practices in testing, code reviews, and development.
