As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

    The Compliance, Safety and Risk Management team (CSRM) is an organization responsible for delivering and operating technical infrastructure through a comprehensive compliance, safety, and risk management program.

    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the innovative data center products and designs prioritize and ensure the well-being and safety of the individuals interacting with the products throughout the entire life-cycle of the technical infrastructure - from design, construction, operation, and eventual dismantling.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide design and industrial safety subject matter knowledge for new infrastructure products and data center building designs.
    • Lead and perform detailed design EHS risk assessment process for new infrastructure products and data center building designs, taking into consideration the entire life-cycle of technical infrastructure.
    • Lead cross-functional collaborative efforts to address identified EHS risks at both the site, regional, and global program levels, engage a cross-functional stakeholder group to ensure integration and compliance with EHS regulatory standards and EHS Owner Program requirements.
    • Monitor and communicate program progress and ensure high quality Design for Safety deliverables are provided on time and approved by the cross-functional teams.
    • Onboard, coach, and follow up with cross-functional teams on EHS Design for Safety Technical Standards and processes.
