    Position summary

    r.

    • In collaboration with the Steering Committee, create, maintain, and execute the data strategy roadmap, with continuous updating and alignment with business priorities and gap analysis.
    • Chair data strategy and prioritization of working groups.
    • Own enterprise data governance and model governance policies and chairs the governance committees and works collaboratively with Office of General Counsel and Chief Information Security Officer.
    • Provide updates regularly to CDO and Partner Group members on data initiatives, prioritization, and issues effecting data.
    • Interface with HTG MIS and architecture groups to ensure alignment of priorities and coordination of project support.
    • Interface with analytics and data science communities to ensure data work is aligned to the business-driven priorities of various groups.
    • Be responsible for defining and maintaining data steward community and chairing regular data steward meetings.
    • Coordinate Data Related titles across the enterprise, and for consolidating and aligning titles with talent.
    • Be responsible, with Steering Committee, to develop a single valuation model for use across all data and analytics function and initiatives to ensure enterprise value is being maximized.

    KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

    • Creation and communication of the Enterprise Data Strategy
    • Executing to a data strategy roadmap that has been vetted across various stakeholders and aligns with Business and Data Strategy
    • An enterprise view of current expense and investment in data across the enterprise
    • Support of I/P process through a single value rubric that measures potential value of all data related projects
    • Data Governance Polices that are understood, communicated, and adhered to, while aligning with the latest regulatory requirements
    • Model Governance Polices that are understood, communicated, and adhered to, while aligning to the updated regulatory requirements

    WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

    • Bachelor's degree required

    • 7-10 years of experience in data governance and strategy

    • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point

    • Advanced project management experience across various business units

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to build out new functions, skills, and process

    • Proven Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build consensus.

    • Ability to manage a team through influence

    • Experience presenting and communicating at a senior level

    • Knowledge of insurance industry

    • Exhibits the core values (integrity, commitment to winning, accountability for results, teamwork and collaboration) critical to success of the organization.

    • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future (i.e.: US Citizen, Green card holder)
