Review and edit translated content from vendors
Provide regular feedback to vendors to ensure translations consistently meet expectations
Perform QA (quality assurance) checking and testing to create a delightful user experience with our software in Japanese
Develop an extensive understanding of HubSpot's product functionalities in order to provide a consistent in-language customer experience
Meet the expected turnaround time to support the continuous delivery of translated user interface
Collaborate with various stakeholders (such as Engineering, Marketing, Support, Sales, and Service teams) and provide feedback to support the efficient globalization of our product suite
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the terminology database and style guide for Japanese to ensure it is relevant and appropriate for the Japanese market
Requirements
1-2 years of professional experience in translation and review/editing of business software and/or related content
Extensive experience using CAT & TMS tools (preferably MemoQ, Transifex)
Experience using project management tools (preferably Jira, Asana)
Degree in translation or linguistics
Knowledge of B2B application products/services
Experience creating and managing linguistic resources like termbases and translation memories
Ideally some experience using common publishing and editing software tools used in the context of localization (InDesign, Photoshop, Office Suite, etc.)
