Your role and responsibilities

IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise in managing and operation of IT, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business. Focus on Take-out projects, replacing competitor softwares to IBM Security solutions (Guardium Data Protection).
The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed products, services, management of the change process, and professional standards, management of performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
?In-depth knowledge of IBM Guardium Data Protection, including its architecture,
components, and functionalities.
?Experience in configuring and managing Guardium, including perform
design, installation, performance testing, patching, trouble shooting and
daily operational support.
?Understanding of Guardium roles and responsibilities
?Proficiency in Guardium appliances deployment and management,
upgrades, migrations, backup and restore
?Proficiency in Guardium agent GIM/STAP deployment and management
of major OS platforms such as Windows/Linux/Unix, as well of major
database platforms such as SQL, Oracle and DB2.
?Strong understanding of Guardium best practices and tuning.
?Strong understanding of policy rules development and implementation
?Proficient knowledge developing reporting, alerting and SEIM
integration
?Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex
issues.
?Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-
functional teams.
?Experience with P1 Severity.
?Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage
multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
?Critical and analytical thinking
?Advanced English
