    Your Role and Responsibilities

    As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

    Your primary responsibilities include:

    • Proficient Software Development with Open Source Technologies: Demonstrate expertise in software development using Open Source technologies, ensuring high-quality code and efficient application performance.
    • Collaborative Problem-Solving and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand product requirements and challenges, proactively addressing issues through analytical problem-solving and strategic software solutions.
    • Agile Learning and Technology Integration: Stay updated with the latest Open Source technologies, eagerly embracing continuous learning and integrating newfound knowledge to enhance software development processes and product features.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Solid experience on any Open Source platform development (C, C++, Perl, etc)

    • Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, as well as reading and writing kanji)

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • JLPT N1-N2 certification is preferred
    • Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.
