Your role and responsibilities

As a managing consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and be a trusted business advisor with deep understanding of SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent and associated work products. You will lead design workshops, support business development activities and mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge. Your primary responsibilities include: Strategic SAP Solution Leadership: Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs. Team Delivery leadership: Lead and manage high performing team of SAP consultants to deliver work products on time, budget, and quality. Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation, leveraging your functional expertise of SAP with clients and team members and working with the latest technologies.

IBM is currently seeking a skilled SAP HANA (FIN/CO) Package Consultant who has a minimum of 8 years of comprehensive SAP experience, with a strong emphasis on E2E template implementation programs, necessitating a minimum of 3 years of practical SAP HANA expertise. The ideal candidate will exhibit deep familiarity with Management Accounting processes and direct, hands-on experience with critical SAP HANA components like Product Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center and Partner Profit Center Accounting, and Month-End processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Template Implementation & Roll-out: Oversee the complete cycle of template implementations, encompassing fit-to-standard workshops, cutover management, and effective client interaction.

2. Client Interaction: Utilize robust communication skills to collaborate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, from end-users to client country management, ensuring seamless project execution and client contentment.

3. Consultative Approach: Employ strong consulting capabilities to guide on SAP HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

4. Design & Testing of Localizations: Work closely with the development team to conceptualize and test WRICEF localizations, guaranteeing they meet business requirements and function efficiently within the SAP landscape.

5. Understanding of FIN or CO Modules: Display a thorough comprehension of SAP FIN / CO modules and their harmonious integration with other modules.

Preferred technical and professional experience

1. Proven experience in E2E template implementation programs.

2. Proficient English communication skills; fluency in additional languages is advantageous.

3. Previous experience in client-facing roles, managing stakeholder expectations.

4. Robust consulting acumen to advise on SAP HANA strategies and solutions.

5. In-depth knowledge of Management Accounting processes.

6. Direct experience with SAP HANA functionalities: Product Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center and Partner Profit Center Accounting, and Month-End processes.

7. Familiarity with Cloud Computing Platforms: Including IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.

8. Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Hands on experience with project management methodologies like Agile.
