Your Role and Responsibilities

• As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
  You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
  Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Enterprise Architecture Consulting: Understand customers' IT requirements and advise the senior management on strategic IT decisions on enterprise level.

  • Scalable Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: Work with customers to help build scalable and robust Hybrid Cloud infrastructure that meet business requirements.

  • Collaborative Design and Deployment of Cloud Infrastructure: Collaborate in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services for our customer's needs.

  • Strategic Analysis and POCs: Conduct analysis and proof of concepts for new solutions while working collaboratively through any issues that arise during the implementation.

  • Lead architecture efforts in complex environments, such as public administration.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect (RedHat or Azure or AWS Architecture), including experience in agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe).

• 5+ Experience in Cloud Advisory, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architect and Senior Management Communication

• Fluent German and English - written & spoken (at least C1 level)

• Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in public sector
• Strong initiative, quick comprehension, and a service- and results-oriented approach.
