You will operate in a dynamic, multi-technology environment that supports critical internal applications across IBM. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for process improvement, driving automation initiatives, and collaborating closely with internal clients to co-create solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support through effective problem determination and source identification.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve technical issues using strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Recommend and implement optimizations, automation, and enhancements to existing tools, procedures, and support processes.
Contribute to the development and deployment of new support tools and technologies.
Share knowledge by mentoring team members and delivering technical training sessions.

Required technical and professional expertise
Solid expertise in the z/OS environment, with a strong focus on the maintenance and support of system tools.
Hands-on experience with RMDS, CMOD, ITOM, SCLM, and Infoprint Server/Daemon.
Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure and hybrid environments.
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems, including experience with:
Installation and configuration
High availability and disaster recovery
Root cause analysis
Performance tuning
Security and compliance practices
Experience working in global, multicultural teams, collaborating across different time zones and geographies.
Strong sense of autonomy, with the ability to work independently while meeting goals and driving innovation.
Ability to lead system design discussions, plan and implement z/OS solutions effectively.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Familiarity with additional z/OS technologies beyond the core tools listed.
Previous experience working in an IBM z/OS environment, with understanding of internal standards and practices.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts, with the ability to apply best practices in service delivery and support.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools, such as:
