Job responsibilities
Perform end-to-end middle office operations including but not limited to front office support, trade management, asset servicing management, and investment accounting data accuracy.
Manage projects and initiatives, such as process improvement, business model changes, system implementation, new product or new market initiatives rollouts, and other ad hoc projects
Establish areas of improvement and implement new procedures and change existing process flows to ensure tight controls front to back
Establish strong relationships across the Business, Risk, Technology and other support groups
Collaborate with various stakeholders (portfolio managers, compliance, controls, risk, client service, operations, internal and external service providers) to design and drive comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
Flexibility in approach and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations
Strong experience and proven track record that can be demonstrated in delivering complex business and IT system related changes
Excellent client facing skills, with experience of managing client relationship either external clients or in a Front office environment
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver results to a high standard, escalating where required
Positive "can do" attitude in all aspects of performing job duties
With Senior Securities Broker license or Securities Investment Trust and Consulting license is a must
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge of markets products (Equities/ Fixed Income/ FX/ Fund of fund/ Money Market) and associated pre/post trade operational processes with specific functional expertise in one of Middle office, settlements or asset services for cash equities is highly desirable.
Bachelor degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience; Middle Office experience within the asset management industry preferred
Fluency in Mandarin and English will be an advantage
Hold CFA is an advantage
