Job responsibilities
Deliver a full range of tax services and reporting to internal and external client, including review of supplementary tax reporting.
Liaise with clients on their tax reporting requirements and tax queries
Build and maintain internal and external client relationships, acting as a subject matter expert for tax related queries
Provide support on specific projects relating to clients, process improvements and product development
Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with tax reporting and processes
Share knowledge and actively develop self and others in the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Accounting/Finance/Law)
Effective analytical and problem solving skills
Achievement orientated, strong attention to detail and focus on continuous process improvement
Effective communication skills and ability to work together in partnership with stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously and high degree of accountability for own work
Client focused and the ability to adapt to change
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5 years' experience in tax, preferably gained in a custody, professional accounting or financial services environment
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or Masters of Tax is highly desirable
