Conduct research, design and develop scalable proof of concepts that support risk analytics and decision-making processes
Design and implement framework for smoothly integrating credit risk models and calculations in Python/PySpark while enhancing performance and scalability
Work with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, Flask) to design solutions
Develop data pipelines through APIs links to integrate risk models and calculations with front-end and MI/dashboarding capabilities
Investigate, triangulate, optimize and enhance the performance, quality, and responsiveness of such products
Work with JP Morgan Chase in-house Large Language Model, and external alternatives to conceptualize, design, test and develop intelligent solutions to automate and improve team's current processes e.g., credit risk review writing
Adopt agile practices to deliver products and next generation risk analytics products
Build proposal, budget requirements and project plans to deliver products
Collaborating across teams and geographies to leverage data, technology and platforms to build analytical tools, as well as to help design and build the next generation of intelligent solutions
Embrace a control focused culture, develop strong understanding of business and credit risk to partner effectively with stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in risk management and expertise in technology
Familiarity with credit loss modelling, key risk/capital metrics and modelling/analytics such as logistic regression, time series analysis and AI/machine learning algorithms
Proficient with technologies such as Python/PySpark, Tableau, Alteryx, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS S3 database, Azure, Open-AI LLMs & UiPath (a person with a high tech-aptitude and drive to learn new things will be considered)
Experienced in product or application development leveraging one or more of the above technologies in risk management space
Professional experience in data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence and data visualization tools/ techniques
High aptitude, problem solving skills to create solutions to potentially complex business challenges
Candidate must be able to lead, multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple ad-hoc analytical requests and prioritize work accordingly
A strong academic background, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science/IT, engineering, physics, mathematics, quantitative economics and statistics
Global banking or consulting work experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum 5 years of work experience in application development, business analysis, data science, machine-learning or AI
Front-end development, UI design, and dashboard development/visualization skills
A keen interest, curiosity in various developments and hands on experience in Generative AI
Credit risk or broader risk management knowledge in global banking concept
Practical knowledge of agile methodologies and project management
