    Position summary

    preparation and reporting of the Daily P&L and Risk and ensuring it is completed in an efficient and controlled manner

    • Partnering with the wider business to drive forth and implement robust controls and implement strategic initiatives

    • Providing detailed analysis and commentary on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management

    • Coordinating various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner

    • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and ensuring processes adapt to meet changing systems and evolving requirements

    • Contributing in key projects and initiatives related to all the above, as well as larger cross-business programs

    • Work experience within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area

    • Previous P&L or risk experience is preferable

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.

    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel.

    • Educated to at least Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) level

    • Understanding of Equities and financial Derivatives and an understanding of associated products including accompanying risks

    • Demonstrate ability to research/investigate and explain financial issues in concise manner

    • Time management skills with ability to work with deadlines and flexibility to adjust according to team's work requirements

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Work experience within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
