Perform analytical review to identify any significant misstatement on Balance Sheet and Income Statement, and liaise with other functions to identify business drivers for significant variances
Involve in the monthly general ledger certification and substantiation process
Work closely with the Regional Management Reporting team on financial planning and analysis processes, such as monthly revenue and expense reporting
Assist in the regulatory, tax and management reporting
Investigation, analysis and resolution of issues and response to ad-hoc queries
Support the annual statutory audits and the regulatory inspections
Support the preparation of meeting materials for location management committee meetings and regional finance control meetings
Participate in working groups for projects and new initiatives impacting Hong Kong Asset Management Legal Entities
Maintain high level of internal control standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field
4+ years finance/accounting - related experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a financial institution
CPA required
Strong accounting and analytical skills, with ability to think broadly and connect diverse issues and tasks
Superior attention to detail
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and able to build strong working relationship with global counterparts
Strong initiative and work ethic, committed and proactive to drive process efficiency
Excellent project management, multi-tasking and collaboration skills
Proficient user of MS suite of products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge/experience with one or several dash-boarding/automation tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, Python) is a plus
