For this Vice President role, we are seeking a highly capable and versatile team member to join our Home Lending Credit Forecasting team. This individual will be responsible for pricing & portfolio analytics, analyzing model results, process improvement, and assisting with stress exercises (Risk Appetite, CCAR). Beyond the Home Lending Credit Forecasting team, you will also work closely with the Home Lending Risk, Modeling and Controller teams to improve insights, data quality, analysis and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Drive portfolio analytics initiatives, including segmentation, high-quality insight generation and control enhancements
Analyze loan-level and portfolio-level performance to inform risk-based pricing decisions across channels, products, and segment
Leverage credit risk models (PD/LGD or analogous frameworks), prepayment/pull-through concepts, and economic assumptions to evaluate pricing scenarios.
Contribute to process improvements and the development of robust controls
Support ad hoc management requests and urgent analyses as needed
Analyze model results and assist in explaining results
Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with Risk, Modeling and Controller teams to improve processes, analysis, insights and reporting
Engage with stakeholders through regular one-on-one meetings, bringing agenda topics and following up on action items to maintain strong relationships
Actively seek and respond to feedback, promoting an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to evolving business needs
Possess good judgment with the demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Experience working in risk analytics, portfolio management, or financial services is highly preferred
Strong background in analytics, with experience in tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python, and a demonstrated ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable recommendations
Experience leading people, workstreams or projects
Experience working with geographically diverse teams
