Job responsibilities
Interact with senior deal team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions
Support origination efforts and any client engagement initiatives by preparing marketing pitches, presentations or any such analysis that may be required to win a new mandate
Define, guide and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses; and any other detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
Coordinate with other teams including leveraged finance, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, ratings and credit
Keep abreast of key market developments in the sector and enhance knowledge of the client base and relevant market dynamics
Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to analysts
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
3-5 years of prior, relevant work experience in Investment Banking
Exceptional financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity
Excellent technology skills with deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications
Highly motivated, adaptable, able to multi-task and manage projects independently
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
Ability to comfortably interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and mature manner
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in the broader Energy, Power, Renewables and Mining space
Additional European language skills
This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity.
