Job responsibilities
Support pre‑closing activities to ensure readiness for drawdown and closing
Coordinate with overseas hub operations to complete drawdowns, repayments, interest and fee settlements, assignments, and participations without issues
Monitor and manage agency services in partnership with overseas agency teams
Handle client and internal inquiries promptly and professionally
Prepare and validate regulatory reports with complete evidence and sign‑offs
Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve breaks with documented root causes
Maintain loan documentation and internal records in audit‑ready condition
Produce and maintain internal management reports to track metrics and controls
Support inspections and audits with timely data, evidence, and responses
Contribute to new product implementations by defining operational requirements and controls
Partner with trade operations to support related workflows and handoffs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry
Good communication skills in Japanese and English
Ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders across regions
Time management, organization, and attention to detail in a deadline‑driven environment
Ability to identify issues independently, analyze root causes, and implement viable solutions
Proactive approach to identifying, escalating, and managing issues and exceptions
Break investigation and resolution discipline with clear documentation
Strong risk management mindset with experience managing exceptions and controls
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Prior experience in Banking Operations
Good understanding of bank loans
Prior experience leading or coordinating a team
Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks relevant to lending
