Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
Must have 10+ years of development experience with 7+ years of recent experience in Java development
Must have 2+ years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams, with a focus on individual growth and overall team performance.
Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security and Practical cloud native experience
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
Very good exposure of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Hands on experience working with APIs (especially Open API), ensuring efficient communication and integration between different systems.
Proven record of providing end-user support with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience working at code level.
Experience with Kafka
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, with a focus on public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
