Develop and structure standby letters of credit and guarantees tailored to clients' trade finance requirements
Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the security and viability of trade finance transactions
Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the interests of both the bank and its clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their trade finance needs
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
Ensure all trade finance transactions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
Prepare and review documentation related to standby letters of credit and guarantees
Maintain accurate records and generate reports for management and regulatory purposes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge of URDG / ISP 98 and UCP 600
Experience in trade finance
Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Knowledge of client documentation, credit, and onboarding processes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with industry best practices in trade finance
Ability to participate in cross-functional projects to enhance trade finance offerings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing regulations and client needs
