• Develop and structure standby letters of credit and guarantees tailored to clients' trade finance requirements

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the security and viability of trade finance transactions

• Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the interests of both the bank and its clients

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their trade finance needs

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty

• Ensure all trade finance transactions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies

• Prepare and review documentation related to standby letters of credit and guarantees

• Maintain accurate records and generate reports for management and regulatory purposes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of URDG / ISP 98 and UCP 600

• Experience in trade finance

• Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, risk management, and regulatory compliance

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

• Knowledge of client documentation, credit, and onboarding processes

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration

• Familiarity with industry best practices in trade finance

• Ability to participate in cross-functional projects to enhance trade finance offerings
