    Position summary

    ses are streamlined and efficient. The main goal is to build and maintain vendor/contractor relationships with the objectives of eliminating inefficiencies, reducing total costs, and increasing productivity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee the Vendor Management team, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction.

    • Determinate operational strategies by monitoring key metrics

    • Define the team processes, support improvements and automation

    • Ensure Identify, communicate, and address needs and interests of CIO organization

    • Ensure centralized management of Vendor agreements for the CIO organization

    • Set the vendor strategy, establish, and manage vendor relationships

    • Interacts with strategic supplier to ensure that daily operations meet contractual obligations and outcomes

    • Coordinate all RFI/RFP/RFQ processes

    • Monitor the CIO vendor landscape and provide reporting on vendor services, financials, and performance

    • Ensure proper budget allocation in line with the agreed vendor agreements

    • Ensure cooperation with the internal stakeholders and vendors to negotiate the best rates/ costs for purchase

    • Maintain data sets in relation to contract renewals, open purchase obligations and future commitments

    • Identify and report on savings, risks, and upcoming opportunities as needed

    • Create detailed supplier vendor assessments, analysing vendor supplier performance to evaluate compliance, quality assurance and service levels and insist on corrective action as necessary

    • Evaluate and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes

    • Develop the request documents, facilitate the evaluations, negotiations and contracting

    • Ensure availability of guidance on vendor engagement processes within all CIO

    Who You Are

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business management or a related field.

    • 5+ years of proven experience in a leadership role.

    • 3+ years of experience in Procurement or Vendor Management

    • Strong knowledge of IT Supplier base

    • Experience in negotiating IT contracts

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

    • Strong understanding of business operations and experience in aligning technical solutions with business objectives.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to understand financial terms of contracts and identify cost savings
