    You will provide 24/5 operations and infrastructure support for Kynsight, including rotational, weekend, mandatory holiday, and out-of-office hours coverage for the Data Platform. This role is critical during Kynsight's planning and migration to Fabric, supporting both business-as-usual (BAU) and transformation activities. You will be part of the L1 and L2 teams, triaging incidents across cloud services (Synapse Analytics, SQL, ML, Power BI, Workday, SAP, MS), and ensuring seamless operations even during team absences or emergencies.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data engineering

    • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (MS Azure required; IBM Cloud, AWS, Google Cloud are a plus)

    • Introductory knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (Java, NodeJS, GO, Bash, Python)

    • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, databases (SQL Server, CosmosDB, db2), and GitHub (CI/CD)

    • Knowledge of firewalls and network components in MS Azure environments

    • Skills in API usage and command-line interfaces

    • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, ADF, SQL Pool, Blob Storage, AAD, and data pipeline creation

    • Experience in supporting migration and transformation activities (e.g., Fabric movement)

    • Experience with Azure RedHat OpenShift (ARO) and VM management in Azure

    • DB certification for Azure support

    • DevOps skills, especially with Terraform for solution implementation

    • Working knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Experience supporting critical operations during team absences or emergencies

    • Ability to work flexible shifts and provide coverage during holidays and weekends

    • Proactive in identifying operational gaps and implementing solutions
