will join the Global Network Services Operation and Network Tools squad. You are expected to possess strong knowledge of network technologies, implementation skills, and expertise in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include ensuring robust network performance, secure VPN communications, implementing new projects, and updating infrastructure. Furthermore, the role requires supporting and managing network infrastructure according to high ITIL standards.
Through your role as our Senior Network Engineer here at Kyndryl Slovakia, you will be responsible for:
Handling multi-vendor hardware and OS, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating router, switch, and circuit installations with vendors and telecom carriers.
Diagnosing and resolving network issues, acting as an escalation point for network engineers, and applying best practices and standards for network health checks, patching, vulnerability scanning, and reporting.
Collaborating effectively with team members, IT organizations, customers, and partners, using collaborative tools to address operational issues and driving continual operational improvement.
Coordinating with OEM partners like Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto to resolve complex network issues, ensuring security compliance in solutions, and overseeing network transition and transformation projects.
Designing, implementing, and supporting network tools platforms, creating process and technical documents, and assisting in project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at 4000 EUR gross per month. The final salary offer reflects the set of skills and experience that the selected candidate brings to the team.
The position includes an on-call duty setup, structured on a monthly rotation basis, with each team member expected to be on call once per month depending on team capacity.
The role has a start date for April 1st, 2025.

Required Skills and Expertise
10+ years of experience in Data Center & Campus network (Wired and wireless), SD-WAN (Cisco and Prisma) architecture, SD Access, and other SDN offerings.
In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Networking, including TCP/IP, Routing and Switching concepts, and Routing Protocols like BGP and OSPF.
Proficient in Ansible automation Platform, scripting, and configuration and troubleshooting protocols like BFD, Spanning tree, L2TP, and Stackwise Virtual.
Experience with Network management protocols (SNMP, IPFIX, SFLOW, ICMP) and Network Tools like Cisco ISE and Cisco Catalyst Center.
Knowledge of Firewall, Proxy, security, IP Services (DNS/DHCP) products and tools, as well as Network Capacity and Performance management.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills and Expertise
Expertise in Ansible automation Platform, scripting, and network automation/orchestration using OEM APIs & SDKs, with Python script development for simple automation.
Knowledge of network tools such as ScienceLogic, ThousandEyes, NetProfiler, Ansible Automation Platform, and Palo Alto technologies (Prisma SD WAN).
Proficient in DNS, DHCP, IP services, and infrastructure management tools like Infoblox and BlueCat.
Certified in CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent technical knowledge.
