The ideal candidate will be comfortable thinking of holistic system architecture while approaching intricate component development work, in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure service and value provided exceeds stakeholder expectations.

This role will independently mine data from a variety of data sources to design efficient, scalable interconnected systems enabling business team members and stakeholders with the large amounts of data required for business operation. This team exhibits "can-do" attitude and builds/pilots workable programs quickly, followed by efforts with IT and vendors to harden and deploy into production.

While domain experience and qualifications are required, the role will include mentorship on highly complex issues from more senior staff and/or management. The position requires an expanded knowledge of data manipulation solutions/tools and domain languages. Technical work for the foreseeable future will primarily be in SQL (Spark and Trino), and in support of this the team is enabled further with LLM-integrated tools and APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in quickly standing up scripts or applications supporting data handling and business needs.

  • Work on projects/matters of high complexity in an independent contributor role on an international team of varied technical skill level and expertise.

  • Work cross-functionally and build relationships to ensure data and integrations are robust as scaling well in an environment of discovery and ambiguity.

  • Develop, test, and optimize extract/transform/load (ETL) processes and logic to support scalable data model and business process automation.

  • Use problem solving skills to overcome data complexity and quality issues through advanced and parameterizable methodologies.

  • Determine opportunities to streamline manual processes through integrating and automating existing platforms and technologies; develop and deploy new programs as pilot capabilities in support of business operations.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects at multiple levels of complexity as needed.

  • Engage with stakeholders and team members to understand pain points and data gaps, align to business objectives, and collaborate on business system architecture design.

  • Work well independently and seek counsel and guidance on more complex projects/matters as needed.

  • Provide process management & data extract tools and support for Go-To-Market campaigns, programs, planning, and enablement activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of expanded analysis solutions/tools (such as OLTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Dynamics, Power BI).

  • Proficient knowledge of domain languages, including multiple SQL dialects (Spark, Hive, Trino, MS T-SQL), Python, Shell/Bash, HTTP/REST, along with comfort in learning new protocols and technologies to solve problems.

  • Application of moderately complex statistical methods supporting probabilistic logic and data relationship besting/prioritization.

  • 5+ years of related experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and cloud platforms (SharePoint, Power Automate, and Azure).

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma, or the equivalent, preferred. Degree/Diploma in computer/data science, finance, or statistics/mathematics a plus.

Base gross monthly salary starts from 2.000 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also a variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
