Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Deeply understand and closely monitor the supply chain of smartphone (and adjacent categories) with respect to costs change, technical developments, and innovation.
Understand the technical aspects including (but not restricted to camera, display, touch, audio, out-of-box, etc.) that could impact the consumer experience.
Optimize product features by consolidating customer needs, market trends and technical developments.
Provide effective support to Product Managers / Benchmark Product Manager to determine the best solution for competitive products in terms (but not restricted to) technical features and costs.
Coordinate and build strong working relations with various teams including: Engineering, Purchasing, Procurements, Operation, Marketing, and Sales
Essential Skill:
Bachelor degree or above in marketing, business administration; engineering major with an advance business degree (MBA for example) is also preferred.
Experience on R&D, Procurement, Product Management, Project Management, Technical Research or Consultant, and an exactly fit of product portfolio management will have a clear advantage.
Strong strategy & analytical skills to understand market & competitive dynamics and develop value based strategies to drive growth and profit.
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions (Engineering, Purchasing, Operation, Marketing, and Sales, etc.), ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good communication & presentation skills, fluent in English, good MS offices skills.
Willing to learn, responsible, self-motivated, team spirit, result oriented.
